Rec Programs

The Terryville Youth Soccer Club (TYSC) recreational program is designed to introduce and develop young soccer players in a fun learning environment. Whether your player is a first-timer or returning player, we welcome them to come out and enjoy the outdoors, make new friends, learn good sportsmanship, teamwork, and challenge themselves to try new skills.
Future Stars:
Our Future Stars program is a beginner, developmental program for ages 3-5 years old. Future Stars meet once a week (Sat or Sun) for 1-hour sessions, for 8 weeks. Keeping in mind the age group and abilities, this is a fun, basic learning curriculum. We strive on getting players comfortable with the ball, following directions, basic kicking and most important-having fun! Registration for this program includes a jersey and a ball. Parents are to provide shin guards and cleats (visit our FREE "Hand Me Down" bin at the field); and don't forget a water!
Super Stars:
Our Super Stars program is a continued developments program for ages 6-9 years old. Super Stars take their skill to the "next level", incorporating positioning, technical skill and game play. If your player falls in this age group, but is new to soccer, That's OK! Everyone is learning, practice sessions cover all of the basics and you're never too old to have fun learning a new sport. Our Super Stars have one practice session per week (on a weekday TBD), and a practice/game day on the weekend. Registration for this program includes a team jersey. Parents are to provide shin guards and cleats (visit our FREE "Hand Me Down" bin at the field); and don't forget a water!
Did you know??? TYSC Recreational Programs rely on volunteer coaches (with or without a soccer background). Parents are welcome to help join the fun and guide these young players. The Future Starts Program is an easy-to-follow program (no soccer skill required), which the club will provide to anyone interested in getting involved. If you have a child in our Super Star program and are willing to get out on the field and have some fun with the kids (maybe learn a little soccer), we have easy, web-based training resources available.
Please reach out or talk to us at the field!
